INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE AND SAFETY OF THE CAMPFIRE

1. FACILITY

This fire pit is designed for the safe creation of open fires outdoors: in backyards, farmhouses, recreational areas, in compliance with all applicable fire safety requirements.

2. GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Use the fire pit outdoors only.
  • Not for use in enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces.
  • Children and pets must be kept at least 2 m away from an active campfire.
  • Never leave a burning fire unattended.

3. DISTANCES FROM OBJECTS (RECOMMENDED MINIMUM)

  • To buildings, structures, terraces: at least 6-8 m
  • To trees, shrubs and hedges: at least 5 m
  • To combustible materials (firewood, furniture, fuel): at least 3 m
  • To cars: at least 6 m
Note: Always follow the local municipality or fire service requirements.

4. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  • Place the campfire on a non-combustible, level and stable base:
    • concrete
    • paving
    • gravel
  • Parking on grass, wooden surfaces or plastic coverings is prohibited.

5. FUEL USE

Authorised for use:
  • Dry firewood
  • Wood briquettes
Prohibited use:
  • Petrol, diesel, spirits or other flammable liquids
  • Rubbish, plastic, rubber, impregnated or painted wood
  • Household waste

6. FIRE MAKING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Build the fire gradually and do not overload the campfire with fuel.
  • The flames must not rise higher than the edges of the campfire.
  • Use heat-resistant gloves or tools.
  • In strong winds, do not build fires.

7. FIRE FIGHTING

  • Allow the fire to go out completely when finished.
  • Pour water or sand over the coal and ash.
  • Make sure there are no hot coals left before leaving the site.

8. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

  • Remove ash regularly only when it has cooled completely.
  • It is recommended to keep the fire pit dry and away from constant moisture.
  • If the fire pit is made of steel, natural oxidation (rust) may occur over time and is not considered a defect.

9. SEASONAL AND LEGAL RESTRICTIONS

  • The use of campfires is prohibited during times of drought or when there is a heightened level of fire danger.
  • Follow the fire safety rules of the Republic of Lithuania.

10. RESPONSIBILITY

The user is fully responsible for:
  • safe use of the campfire,
  • preventing potential fires,
  • damage to third parties or property.

Recommendation: always have water, a fire extinguisher or sand nearby. The Manufacturer/Supplier accepts no liability for misuse or non-compliance with safety regulations.
